How is GPM Shavings' wood shavings made?

It all starts with recycled wood material. We buy local companies' residual wood material and carefully select which parts are kept and which are tossed. We then use the best wood material to produce our wood shavings. Quality control is key at GPM Shavings.

When we receive the wood material, we then inspect them for humidity, absorption and size. The wood shavings are then sorted according to size. Besides our Fine and Medium/Coarse wood shavings, we also manufacture custom batches of wood shavings for special orders.

After being sorted, the wood shavings are then tested again for uniformity and quality after being mixed. If the resulting product is satisfying, it is transported to our packing unit or to our warehouse for storage.

When the product gets bagged, we pay special attention to the compression of the product as well as the level of filling. Our expert employees oversee the process and monitor every detail from start to finish. The bags have to be hard, fully filled as well as heavy. Our quality control is at the center of our reputation, so even after bagging our wood shavings; we check the quality of the bags. Our products can be delivered in bulk, bagged or palletized for your convenience.
